还没/ 不……就 B happens even before A
This pattern is used to emphasize that something happens even before the one that should take place ahead.还is followed by a negative statement in this pattern, and both 还and 就 are adverbs followed by verb phrases. This sentence can have one or two subject.
Subj1 + 还没/不 + VP（subj2）+ 就 + VP
Example:
1. 李经理还没学英语就开始跟美国商人做生意了。
Manager Li started doing business with Americans even before he knew how to speak English .
2. 中国还没入世，史密斯先生就到中国来投资了。
Mr. Smith had invested in China even before China joined the WTO.
