Examples:

We demand indemnity in accordance with the contract.

We have already wired $5.000 to your company according to your quoted price.
根据can also be used as a noun or a verb according to the context.

Is there a basis for the price of your goods?
4. 我们的计划要根据市场的需要。（As a verb）
Our plan has to be based on market demand.
